How to use the tool

  1. Choose or drop a TTF, OTF, WOFF or WOFF2 file.
  2. Wait for local analysis and open the relevant tab.
  3. Review the output, metadata and license warnings.
  4. Download the report or validated output file.

Privacy and limitations

The app does not upload the file, its name or metadata. Complex fonts can use significant memory, so the app enforces a 30 MB limit and cancellable operations. The fsType record is a technical hint, not a complete license interpretation.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is the font uploaded to a server?

No. JavaScript and WebAssembly read and process the file directly in your browser.

Does the tool change the font license?

No. The app reads available records and technical flags, but conversion and publishing rights come from the actual license agreement.

Does it work without installed software?

Yes. Analysis, conversion, subsetting and export run in the browser. A desktop computer is recommended for very large files.

Which formats are supported?

The initial release supports TTF, OTF, WOFF and WOFF2. TTC/OTC collections are detected but not split yet.
